Mulebuy buying guide: check the bag, then build the parcel

A bag listing is only the beginning of a purchase. This guide connects the seller link, the first payment, warehouse checks and the separate international parcel. Use it to decide what evidence you need before money or goods move to the next stage.

Illustrated archive: these screens document Mulebuy’s earlier buying flow. They do not confirm current operation, prices, return terms or route availability. Verify the service and its terms before sending money or identity documents.

1. Find the original seller link

Search for the product or paste its seller URL into the agent search field. Keep the original Taobao, Tmall or Weidian link with your notes: an agent-wrapped link or a screenshot alone may not identify the exact listing. If a link fails to import, ask the verified support channel whether manual ordering is available instead of selecting a similar-looking item.

For a bag, save the seller’s dimensional drawing as well as the link. Note whether its measurements include handles, wheels or an expanded section.

2. Choose the exact variant and make the first payment

Check colour, size, quantity, measurements and seller notes before adding the item to the cart. Review the order quote for goods, domestic delivery and any disclosed service charges. A wallet top-up is not necessarily an order payment; confirm the order itself shows the expected status. International parcel freight is a later decision.

Put an essential internal-size question in the purchase notes before the agent buys. Do not substitute the volume in litres for a required laptop-compartment width.

3. Follow the purchase and domestic delivery

Open the order record and distinguish waiting for payment, agent purchasing, seller dispatch and warehouse arrival. Reply promptly if the agent requests a price difference or a missing option. Domestic tracking follows the seller-to-warehouse leg; it is not proof that the international parcel has shipped. Save the order identifier when asking for help.

If the seller proposes another bag size, compare the inside measurements again. A larger external size may also change the later parcel quote.

4. Inspect warehouse QC before deciding to ship

Compare the received item with your saved variant, then open the full-size photos. Check visible colour, labels, measurements, print and damage relevant to the purchase. Request a specific additional angle or ruler measurement when the default photos cannot answer your question. QC photographs are visual evidence, not authentication, a laboratory test or proof of durability. Ask about seller return conditions before the applicable deadline.

Ask for a ruler photo across the opening and usable compartment, plus the straps and zip if those details matter. A closed bag photographed from the front cannot establish internal fit.

5. Build the parcel and review international freight

Select eligible warehouse items, destination and packing preferences. Rehearsal or pre-calculation may help establish packed dimensions and weight where offered. Compare the available route, chargeable weight, restrictions, selected services and any applicable import costs before paying. Keep protective packaging that the product needs; a lighter parcel is not useful if it arrives damaged.

Separate the bag’s intended travel use from its delivery packaging: the dimensions relevant to international freight are those of the packed parcel. Ask whether folding the bag would damage its structure.

Build the parcel and review international freight: The historical interface labels this Rehearsal Packing. The pictured Overdue item is a status example, not confirmation that it can be shipped. Old prices are not estimates for your parcel.

6. Track the parcel from its own record

Open the parcel details after submitting it and confirm freight payment and dispatch status. Save the international tracking number and check the carrier events. A parcel record can exist before it is paid or handed to the carrier. If there is a problem, provide the parcel identifier and relevant event to the support channel responsible for that stage.

When the bag arrives, retain the outer packaging until you have checked visible damage and the ordered variant. The international tracking record does not prove that the internal-size requirement was met.

Worked example: a backpack for a laptop and two days away

Save the seller link, exact bag size and laptop dimensions, including its sleeve. Ask for the usable compartment and zip-opening width, not just the bag's outer width. At the warehouse, request a ruler photo across the opening and a clear view of the straps and zip. The Fit box can reveal an impossible rigid load, but cannot model curved walls, padding or fabric stretch. For shipping, compare the packed parcel dimensions with the route quote; for your flight, compare the filled bag with the airline's current allowance. These are two different size checks.

  • Does the listing give internal dimensions or only the exterior?
  • Can the rigid object pass through the opening?
  • Will the requested ruler photo show the actual measurement?
  • Does the packed shipping quote include protective packaging?

Two payments and a quote to check at each stage

The first payment concerns the goods, domestic delivery and any disclosed services. The later parcel payment concerns international freight and selected packing or other services. A wallet top-up, an order payment and a parcel payment are different records: check which one you completed.

Chargeable weight can depend on actual weight or parcel volume under the selected route’s rules. An early estimate is not a guaranteed final quote. Check current restrictions, insurance terms, warehouse storage conditions and return or exchange deadlines; do not infer them from the figures in these old screens.

Practical questions

Can a litre figure prove that my laptop fits?

No. Capacity describes volume, while a laptop needs enough uninterrupted width, height and opening clearance. Ask for those measurements and leave room for its sleeve.

Does warehouse QC prove that a bag is waterproof?

No. A normal photograph can show visible seams, lining and damage, but cannot verify waterproof performance, load capacity or material composition. Ask for appropriate product evidence before buying for a demanding use.

Is international shipping included in a Spreadsheet price?

Usually the displayed figure is a seller or product reference price. Read the live order quote for goods and domestic delivery, then the later parcel quote for international freight and selected services. Do not treat a directory price as a delivered total.

Decision points for the whole order

Start with the object that must pass through the bag opening

Write down the laptop body or other rigid object’s three dimensions before choosing a bag. A screen diagonal and a claimed capacity in litres cannot tell you whether it passes through the zip. Keep the exact bag size, the seller URL and the sleeve/opening measurements you need. If a saved agent link fails, recover the original seller and product identifier; ask for a manual quote for that variant rather than accepting the nearest-looking replacement.

The six screens are historical. Our public home and fee-page requests timed out on 22 October 2026; that does not establish a permanent closure or the outcome of an existing parcel. A bag that appears in an old catalogue is not confirmation of current stock or an orderable service. Verify a working order record and support route before paying. If the seller cannot supply the decisive inside measurement, choose whether the remaining uncertainty is acceptable before starting the purchase.

Price the bag and the space its parcel occupies

Separate the goods payment from the later international parcel charge. The first quote should identify the chosen bag, domestic delivery and disclosed buying costs; the parcel quote should identify packed dimensions, chargeable weight, packing and optional services. Taxes, clearance or carrier charges may still be outside either quote. A cheap but rigid bag can cost more to transport than a heavier bag that packs smaller.

Planning example only: a bag costs CNY 180, domestic delivery 12 and your chosen measurement photos 6: CNY 198 before international freight. If the packed parcel quote is 160, the subtotal becomes 358, with any payment, conversion and arrival charges still to add. These invented amounts are not Mulebuy prices. Keep the CNY subtotal beside the actual wallet credit and card debit so the currency conversion is visible.

Ask whether removing a retail box changes the final quote, and whether it sacrifices protection you need. Compare a measured packed quote with the original estimate before authorising the second payment. The Fit box models usable space inside a bag; it does not calculate a carrier’s packing charge or predict compression.

A replacement size is a new fit decision

When the order asks for a reply, check what changed. A larger alternative may solve the laptop opening but exceed your intended cabin size; a smaller alternative can preserve the advertised look while losing the sleeve you need. Ask for the replacement model, internal measurements and revised total. Do not authorise it by colour or seller photograph alone.

A paid order is not yet a purchased or warehouse-inspected bag. If the seller has not dispatched, ask for its response and cancellation options. If domestic tracking shows delivery but the bag is absent from your warehouse record, supply the tracking number and order ID privately for matching. Wait for the actual bag record and relevant photos before treating its dimensions as known.

Request the opening and sleeve, not another front view

For a laptop bag, ask for the usable sleeve opening with both ends of a tape visible, then its inside depth. For a rigid item, include the narrowest zip opening; for cabin use, request the outside size including protruding handles. State whether the bag is empty or packed in the measurement. A tape laid diagonally or partly hidden by padding cannot resolve a close fit.

Use the received label and photos to check variant, quantity, visible stitching damage and the measurement you requested. If the tape zero is missing, ask for that view again; if the opening is visibly too narrow, hold shipment and ask about a return. Leave room for seams, lining and tolerance instead of approving a fit that works only to the last millimetre in the tool.

The August 2026 help described fixed-angle basic QC and paid extra photos; confirm any current availability and price first. Those photos cannot establish seam strength, waterproof performance, composition or authenticity. A reviewer’s GL/RL is an opinion, not a recorded shipping instruction or return approval.

Resolve the fit mismatch while the bag is still at the warehouse

Make the discrepancy measurable: “ordered sleeve width X; warehouse image shows Y at the usable opening”. Attach the saved listing and the requested measurement privately. A seller’s incorrect dimension and your change of intended use are different reasons; ask which return process and deductions apply. Retain tags and packaging while the decision is open.

The official page archived on 23 August 2026 described a five-day / 120-hour request window from Stored, conditional on the seller accepting the return and the goods remaining resaleable. It excluded some goods, including customised items and removed-label or packaging cases. That historical rule is not a promise of eligibility now. Check the bag’s actual Stored time and obtain confirmation before its deadline; international dispatch can remove the practical warehouse-return option.

Request a breakdown of any return freight and service deduction. The archive’s personal-reason charge was USD 0.75 plus relevant domestic freight, not a free-return guarantee. Track seller acceptance, wallet credit and withdrawal to the original payment method as separate events. If the service cannot be reached, preserve the purchase and contact records for your payment provider’s applicable dispute process; this site cannot withdraw a balance for you.

Measure the packed exterior before choosing a route

A cabin allowance measures the bag when you travel; an international line measures the shipping parcel. Keep those two checks separate. A carrier box of 42 × 30 × 18 cm has a volumetric weight of 3.78 kg with a divisor of 6,000, even if the scale reads 1.6 kg. The selected line may use another divisor, minimum or rounding step, so request its actual chargeable weight.

If the line rejects a long side, ask whether an acceptable repack is possible without bending a rigid frame or damaging the bag. If it rejects the contents, removing an empty box will not change that restriction. Confirm destination, permitted items, compensation and declaration requirements. Rehearsal supplies measurements for a quote; it is not the carrier’s final billing guarantee. Compare both full quotes before splitting a shipment.

Storage is also part of the fit decision. The August archive mentioned 90 free days from Stored and paid extension conditions; use the actual item’s remaining time and ask for confirmation of an extension. An Overdue screen in the historical guide does not prove that a particular bag can still be recovered.

After delivery, compare the physical bag with the saved measurements

Follow the carrier named for your parcel and record the last scan. Label creation alone is not evidence of collection; if the agent and carrier disagree, ask for the handover event and any final-mile number. Send the parcel ID, line and timestamps, rather than a general “where is my bag?” message.

On arrival, keep the packaging and label until you have checked the bag. Measure the same opening shown in QC and photograph a damaged zip, crushed frame or size mismatch with its context. Do not use the Fit box result as proof that the delivered bag is defective: the model relies on the dimensions entered. Report the specific difference promptly under the applicable terms.

A useful request is: “Order [ID], bag variant [name]. The seller listed [measurement]; the warehouse image dated [date] shows [measurement]; the received opening is [measurement]. Please confirm the remedy and deadline.” Keep addresses and payment records private; publish only redacted copies if seeking advice.

A backpack for a particular laptop

Record the laptop body dimensions, not just its screen diagonal. Ask for the usable sleeve opening and inside depth with a tape, plus the outside packed size including handles. If a photo only shows an empty front, request the missing measurement before approving shipment. Fit box treats objects as boxes: padding, curved walls and loaded bulges can invalidate an apparent fit.
